Abby has been a member of the SG World family for 12 months now and in that time has completely excelled in her role as Financial Accountant. Abby’s day-to-day job sees her analysing the company’s sales figures and business costs, allowing us to evaluate our financial performance.
Obviously, Abby is very good at what she does; however as with all our Employee of the Month winners, it’s not just how well Abby does her job, but how much she goes above and beyond for her colleagues and the company.

Obviously, Abby is very good at what she does; however as with all our Employee of the Month winners, it’s not just how well Abby does her job, but how much she goes above and beyond for her colleagues and the company.
Abby regularly steps up and does a lot for her team and this month was no exception. SG World’s sister company, SGW Payroll, recently needed holiday cover so Abby stepped in to help. She went to their offices, learnt how to do the job and did it brilliantly. She also did the same for The Printing House, another member of the SG World group of companies. If this wasn’t enough, Abby did all of this whilst doing her own job and meeting her deadlines, as well as mentoring and training other members of the team. Phew!
Abby clearly has an amazing work ethic and we know that her friends and colleagues will agree that she not only goes above and beyond, but does so happily and with a patient, calm and friendly manner.
It doesn’t stop there… Abby even adopted a stray cat recently, who we’re told loves bringing her headless presents (we wonder what Abby will be getting for Christmas this year??). She will also soon be moving into her new home and we hope that she sees SG World as very much her second home.
