Did you know that your fork lift trucks should be inspected before every shift to ensure they are fit for use?

The HSE estimates that each year there are approximately 8000 accidents involving fork lift trucks.  Many of these are caused by unsafe trucks.

Safe-truck is our innovative fork lift truck inspection system that will ensure that all of your fork lift trucks are inspected before every shift. Using our patented product allows you to inspect all of your trucks for safety by using a simple checklist. An automatic record of your inspections is created as well as the production of a visible safety paddle for the truck.

Any safety certificate indicating faults that need to be rectified can be passed directly to maintenance for action thus leaving the paddle to indicate that the truck is unsafe to use.  Alternatively the slip can be placed inside the inspection paddle appropriately, indicating that the truck is unsafe and that maintenance is required.  The maintenance department will then work on any trucks with red slips showing.

The system is available in 2 formats; a padded book which is housed in the status paddle on the truck or a writing board format which enables all the inspection records to be kept in one place and facilitates one person having the responsibility of carrying out all fork lift truck inspections.  Choose the best format to suit your working practices!
