Industry News » SG World makes its case at IOSH 2010
26-03-2010
SG World could be seen at the recent IOSH conference making a case for their 'Inspect it' range of solutions.
At a busy, and at times controversial, conference visitors showed a great deal of interest in equipment inspections as awareness has grown amongst organisations about their responsibilities.
The conference entitled 'Making the case for Health and Safety' covered a wide range of topics including a controversial keynote from Lord Young and a popular session from Tim Roberts, head of health and safety for Glastonbury Festival.

Speaking about the accompanying exhibition Jamie Norman, Marketing Manager of SG World, said. "We were really pleased to speak to so many people who take health and safety seriously.
It's great to see the rising awareness amongst the profession about pre-use checks for equipment. We were more than happy to share our experience in helping organisations with their pre-use compliance.
Many delegates took advantage of our free inspection trial and commented on the simplicity of our system and how well it helped comply with best practice in the industry, including a representative of the HSE!
It seems that the HSE message of not cutting corners in Health & Safety in times of recession is getting through to organisations.
Obviously businesses have to be careful with their spend but the attendance at the two-day event has proved that Health & Safety professionals are still very much open to new ideas and seeing how they can make today’s workplaces safer still”.
We look forward to installing our solutions with these organisations just as we have with hundreds of customers throughout the UK both large and small.
