SG World Aims for Further Success at The Academies Show

Following their successful exhibition presence at The Academies Show 2012 at the Birmingham NEC, SG World is looking forward to bringing AudIT, their school asset management software solution, to the London ExCel for the April 2013 Academies Show.

“It was an excellent day,” Mark Haase, Director, said. “We were able to connect with a huge base of education decision makers, and demonstrate how our solutions, like VisIT ED electronic visitor management software and AudIT school asset and inventory management software, help academies to implement best practices for safeguarding pupils and property.”

SG World demonstrated both electronic visitor solutions throughout the day and saw large amounts of traffic to the stand. The delegates to The Academies Show were able to test out VisIT ED’s touchscreen visitor management solution and see how AudIT can be used to manage a complete school inventory from anywhere with an internet connection. Extremely popular on stand were SG World’s AudIT themed chocolate Advent Calendars, offered this year as a giveaway.

SG World Stand at The Academies Show April 2013AudIT was SG World’s flagship product for The Academies Show. The internet-based asset management software is designed with the needs of educational organisations in mind. The easy-to-use software can track and manage a complete asset register that covers physical assets, such as ICT equipment, and software licenses, which can be easily over or under-used. With academies under the obligation to manage their finances effectively, AudIT provides a simple solution which can ensure the school’s money is used to effectively support or replace resources.

Along with the internet-based asset management software solution, SG World offers a popular asset discovery service where engineers map the school and room layouts, photographing and adding individual assets to the system to leave the school with a fully populated asset management system following initial set-up, or an updated asset register following an annual review.

Equally popular was VisIT ED, demonstrated on the stand with its touchscreen module. VisIT ED is SG World’s best-selling electronic visitor management product for schools, colleges and universities. Available with a touchscreen, or just the desktop-based software, VisIT ED provides schools with the flexibility to manage their reception area in the way that is best for their environment.

“We were really happy with the response to both our electronic solutions,” Adam Casey, Head of Operations for SGWIT, SG World’s electronics division, said. “Schools, and academies especially, have a real desire to implement solutions that modernise their administrative duties while providing an intuitive and easy-to-use interface. SG World prides itself on its simple solutions – and it was great to see the response to our products reflected in the interest of the delegates at The Academies Show in Birmingham.”
