What's New in Version 2

These are the headline features you'll get as part of the automatic V2 update in September.

●     A Visual Refresh: The first thing you'll notice is the updated interface. We've given the software a lick of paint across all modules for a cleaner, more modern experience. All functionality is where you expect it to be, with zero re-training needed.

●     Powerful Contractor Document Automation: Based on your direct feedback, you can now automate the request, tracking, and storage of key contractor documents, complete with reminders, to dramatically reduce admin time and compliance risk.

●     A Brand New Pass Designer: We've completely overhauled the pass designer. It's now easier than ever to create professional, customised visitor and contractor passes that perfectly match your brand.

 

●     A Faster, More Responsive Foundation: We've upgraded all the backend technologies that power 5D. The outcome for you is a noticeably faster and more responsive platform, building a rock-solid foundation for future development.

●     Global Capability: With added multi-language and multi-time zone support, it's now even easier to manage sites across different regions and support a diverse workforce.

We've been constantly working to make 5D better. Here are some of the powerful features we've already rolled out that you might have missed:

●     Save Hours with Bulk Contractor Uploads
Onboard entire companies and their staff in minutes, not hours, with our simple bulk upload tool.

●     Quicker Sign-In and Evacuation
We've drastically improved sign-in performance and added quick-print options for fire evacuation lists, getting you to work faster and enhancing site safety.

●     More Flexibility and Control
You can now make custom fields editable, assign vehicle registrations to people for better site management, and use RFID cards with our wall-scanners for fast, touchless sign-in.

●     Instant SMS Notifications
Set up text message support for visitor arrivals and other key workflows. (this is an optional add-on)

●     For our Education Customers: Arbor & Bromcom Support
Seamlessly and securely integrate 5D with your school's MIS for simple data management. (this is an optional add-on)

The rollout will take place on the 16th September. The update will be applied automatically outside of your core operating hours.

Do I need to do anything?

No, this update will be applied automatically to your account.

Is there any training required?

No. While the interface will look more modern, the core functionality and layout are unchanged, so you and your team can continue to use 5D just as you do now.

Is there any additional cost?

No. SG World is committed to to continous improvement and we belive that this should be included in your subscription, and therefore there will be no charges unless you choose to purchase additional modules, eg the new Digital Inspections module, or other modules you don't currently subscribe to.
