Scaffold Handing Over Certificate (Pad of 25)

A simple procedure to help organisations conduct an inspection of scaffolding to ensure it is safe for use when handed over by a scaffolding contractor for first time use.

The scaffold handing over certificate pad is used when a scaffolding contractor hands over a completed scaffolding construction for first time use, enabling an organisation to work through a duplicate checklist and carry out an inspection of a scaffold, ensuring that it is safe for use. The top copy of the checklist has a tear off section which is displayed on the scaffolding to indicate its safety. The duplicate copy remains in the pad as evidence that the hand over inspection has taken place in the event of an HSE investigation. Each pad contains 25 certificates/inspections.

How to use

Once the inspection is complete, assuming that safety has been established, the inspection certificate can be placed inside a safety status indicator on the scaffold, ensuring that every employee can clearly see that it is safe to use. Failing scaffold can be similarly identified and handed back for corrective action.

The duplicate copy of the certificate remains inside the inspection pad and can be used as evidence of inspections should you ever need to produce this for the HSE.

Each pad allows you to perform 25 hand over inspections on a piece of equipment.
