Scaffold Inspection Checklist (Pad of 30)
A simple procedure to help organisations conduct an inspection of scaffolding to ensure it is safe for use.
The scaffold inspection pad enables an organisation to work through a duplicate checklist and carry out an inspection of a scaffold, ensuring it is safe to use. The top copy of the checklist is displayed on the scaffolding to indicate its safety. The duplicate copy remains in the pad as evidence that the inspection has taken place in the event of an HSE investigation.
When conducting a scaffold inspection, the assessor can simply work down the inspection checklist, checking the safety of each component in turn. This simple procedure helps you to comply with the Work at Height Regulations 2005 which state that all scaffolds must be inspected before first use, after severe weather, after any alteration liable to affect its stability or at least every 7 days.
Once the inspection is complete, assuming that safety has been established, the inspection certificate can be placed inside a safety status indicator on the scaffold, ensuring that every employee can clearly see that it is safe to use. Failing scaffold can be similarly identified and handed over for corrective action.
The duplicate copy of the certificate remains inside the inspection pad and can be used as evidence of inspections should you ever need to produce this for the HSE.
Each pad allows you to perform 30 inspections on a piece of equipment and is suitable for use with our scaffold paddle kit.
